More of a Blog type post rather than a trawl through personal history.
I’m 70 now and life is getting shorter. Certain events give glimpses into possible futures which are not very attractive. My kidney function is 11% having been here before then bobbling back up to 12/13% for over a year. I feel much the same physically but I have noticed I’ve been excusing myself because I’m an old man now. This ought to change. However, In not sure I’m up for the amount of growing I have done in the past. Another couple have taken on two growing beds in our veg patch which has worked very well. They even gave us Christmas presents to say thank you. Pottery is still something I enjoy and I’m in the mood for some more right now.
Sandra is getting worse: more pain, clamping and balance issues. Last week she had a partial loss of vision and is being referred to the stroke team. It’s MS again but all hard to bare for her and hard to live with too. so we are having conversations about future living arrangements and care. all a bity gloomy but that’s my mood anyway.
We bought a motorhome Billy the Hymer. We have had several trips already and plan to go every month. Part of the impetus is Sandra has a desire to have a few more adventures. Maybe abroad, Maybe France again. Who knows. A big difficulty is not planning ahead. So its hard or expensive to book what we want. I’m enjoying being able to play with it. Solar panels to fit, WIFI already installed. I need to get a motorhome guy to fit an awning. All good in that respect.
I have ambitions to take more flexibility exercises. I’m looking forward to the bowling season.
